icecream

‘ICE CREAM DESSERTS AND SEMI FREDDO’ our wonderful new six week course will teach you how to produce delectable desserts using home-made ice cream.  You will also discover the art of semi freddo, a very popular Italian dessert.
What makes this new course especially enjoyable is that it will end with a professional style ice cream making competition.  Students’ ice cream desserts will be judged by a prize-winning ice cream maker and the winning student will get to take home one of the ice cream making machines.
We expect this course to be very popular so make sure to enrol as soon as possible. If your family love ice cream, why not come to a course which they will all appreciate too?
Ice Cream Desserts and Semi Freddo (course code 148) starts on Monday 3 June and runs every Monday evening from 18.30 – 21.00 for 6 weeks. Cost £115

STEADMAN Alison

A rave review for The Institute from leading actress Alison Steadman“The Institute is a brilliant resource to have in this area,” enthuses Institute student and leading actress Alison Steadman.  “I have quite a stressful job so attending classes here is not only fulfilling creatively but relaxing too. Everyone is so friendly and you're made to feel welcome from the start.”Alison sums up the appeal of The Institute’s people-friendly approach to adult learning: “Whether you’re learning Holiday French - something I intend to do - drawing, cookery or even quilting, it's a great experience. There are dozens of courses: something to suit everyone. All ages are welcome, no previous experience is necessary and you'll make new friends as well as learning a new skill. We must support this wonderful place.”
