VISA STATUS

Student Visitor Visa: English from E2 to L2 (6 months or 11 months)

Please see the following websites for advice and guidance about visas:

Please note: We are not able to give specific advice to individual students about how to apply for a visa. Students on full-time courses (15 hours per week) can receive letters for the Home Office but 90% attendance at these classes is necessary. If a student is absent without notifying The Institute, his or her visa may be cancelled. In such cases there will be no refund of fees. If a student is absent for more than a week because of illness, a medical certificate must be provided. Students paying the course fees by cheque can only receive Home Office letters after the cheque has cleared (allow two weeks).

For guidance on matters relating to the Home Office and visas, please contact Frank Keane, our Student Support Officer at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call him on 020 8829 4146.
