WELCOME

The Institute has been teaching English as a Foreign Language for many years and has a reputation for providing high quality courses at reasonable prices. We are committed to excellence in tuition, student care and helping you to maximise your progress. We offer small classes, a warm, friendly atmosphere and fully qualified, experienced teachers. We also want to help you make the most of your time in London and arrange social activities and provide advice on trips and visits. We can also arrange 
accommodation with host families and airport transfers if required.

DATES

Summer School 2012 will run from 9th July to 3rd August.
Students may enrol for a minimum of two weeks starting on the following Mondays: 9th July, 16th July and 23rd July.

WHAT YOUR COURSE INCLUDES
•    Free certificate of attendance
•    Free student card (bring 2 passport-sized photographs)
•    You will be given a placement test and interview
There is a registration fee of £20.

SOCIAL PROGRAMME

Take advantage of
On Friday afternoons all students will be able to join our trips to central London, which will be led by qualified EFL teachers.
You will need to pay for your transport and for any admission charges where applicable.
On Sundays we can arrange day trips outside London. All trips outside London are conducted by a highly experienced, qualified Blue Badge Guide. The costs are very reasonable.

Examples of central London visits and weekend excursions:
•    Kenwood House and Hampstead
•    Camden Lock Market and The Regent’s Canal
•    Tate Modern and Tate Britain
•    British Museum and British Library
•    Guided walk: The City of London
•    Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
•    Olympic Village & Westfield Shopping centre
•    London Eye
•    The Tower of London
•    Oxford, Cambridge, Bath and Stonehenge, Stratford upon Avon

OPTIONAL CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
You will also have the opportunity to join some of the creative workshops which we offer at The Institute. These include: cookery, painting and drawing, photography, making fashion accessories and cartooning. These workshops can be booked when you start summer school.

ACCOMMODATION LOCAL FAMILIES WITH SELF-CATERING
If you wish, we can find accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis + self-catering with local host families. Please note this facility is only available to students over the age of 18. This is the ideal choice if you want to practise your English outside the classroom and learn about the British way of life at first hand. We only work with carefully chosen families in the local area.

Facilities include:
• Bed linen and towels provided
• Shared use of the kitchen and bathroom
• Rooms are cleaned once a week
Cost: £120 per week

An administration fee of £50 is charged in addition to the accommodation fees.

The Institute reserves the right to cancel a class with less than 8 students.
Refunds are not permissible without a medical certificate, unless The Institute closes the class.
