MIDDLESEX MODNET

This Level 4 qualification is accredited by Middlesex University (subject to validation in July 2011). Students will gain a Middlesex University Certificate. The course will run for 24 weeks. Two thirds will be work-based and one third will be 5 hour Saturday sessions spread out over 24 weeks (more frequently in the first half of the course than the second).

The course is aimed at people who wish either to prepare their organisation to gain National IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) Standards or be aware of what the processes are for future use. It allows the student to explore and examine their organisation's (or department's) procedures and systems and develop robust IAG practices to meet an IAG National Standard.

Students will be expected to produce a portfolio based on their own work practices, a presentation showing their journey towards meeting an IAG standard and a 1000 word assignment reflecting on their learning journey.
