PARKING IN THE ARTS CENTRE CAR PARK
Staff members and students who use the Arts Centre will be well aware that parking space here is very limited. The car park operates on a first come, first served basis with no distinction being made between students and staff.
Spaces are very occasionally reserved for a specific reason and members of the caretaking and front-of-house staff will, wherever possible, help if a teacher or student has mobility problems or needs to pick up/drop off bulky or heavy items and cannot find a space to park on site.
We realise that the situation is far from ideal and have considered other possibilities but to date no viable alternative has been identified. If you are unable to travel here by public transport, we would ask for your understanding and patience and request that if you do park on site, you do so with consideration for the other users of the car park.

Please be aware that vehicle clamping is in operation on the access road to the Arts Centre, Beaumont Close, from our front gates all the way down to The Bishops Avenue. The release fee is £170. Students should be aware that this road is not The Institute's property and that we have no control over the measures taken.
